We often get some questions regarding whether or not the Dermagist Cosmeceutical line is FDA approved. Each of our products is carefully formulated to comply with the strictest of regulations up to and including government approval. Each product is not only considered safe and healthy, they are recognized as some of the most advanced formulations in the industry and are the recipients of numerous consumer reporting group awards. The question, however, as to whether or not they are FDA approved is that NO COSMETIC is regulated by the FDA.
While the FDA regulates many aspects of skin care treatment, cosmetics are not one of them. Our laboratories are of the highest standard and upmost integrity. Many consumers are unaware of this fact and are tricked by “shady companies” hoping to deter you from purchasing our popular products in hopes of you buying their low quality brand.
Most of this confusion is caused by a few “internet scam marketers” that try to convince consumers that our products are not approved with the FDA because our products are manufactured in Canada, despite Dermagist LLC being an US Corporation. Nothing could be further from the truth. While we choose to refrain from engaging in such nonsense, we do wish to pass along the truth to our consumers so that there is no confusion out there about the safety of our product line.
These companies seemingly know so little about skin care that they claim that their products contain FDA approval when in fact no wrinkle cream in the world contains FDA approval, as it is just not required by the US government, regardless of where they are produced. This same logic would mean companies such as L’Oreal Paris or others created in Switzerland, Paris, and throughout Europe are of that same low quality. These nonsense sites would have you believe that companies such as L’Oreal Paris are dangerous? It is clearly an uneducated attempt at tricking consumers.
Due to the transparent nature of our organization, and the fact that we want consumers to know as much about our products as possible, we have exposed ourselves to some less than reputable companies who wish to capitalize on our products effectiveness and popularity for their own monetary gain. While we would never sink to their level and name these organizations, it is certainly not hard for consumers to see which companies seem to be recommended when our product line’s integrity is in question.
